A play cafe kids AND grown ups will love ...and a welcome break for tired shoppers

After suffering through countless hours of the usual sugar-fuelled soft play fare, we decided to create a play cafe that prioritises quality food and drink.

We’ve got barista coffee, cheeky hot choc, a huge selection of TeaPigs tea. There’s also plenty of homemade cakes, snacks and tasty Tiffin sandwiches to fill grown-up and little tummies alike. The perfect spot to relax after a busy day at the Cribbs Causeway shops.

FAQs Answers to some of our most commonly asked questions!

Is WiLD THiNGS Play Project soft play?
We are not a soft play – we’re something different. Our immersive indoor play area uses all-natural materials to recreate the feel of outdoor play and allow kids’ imaginations to run WiLD.

What are the disadvantages of soft play?
As parents we found the only real play available on the high street was generic, plastic, overpopulated and noisy soft play (not to mention the sugar-fuelled food and drink!). When the confines of a traditional soft play environment are removed, we find children play a different way. They slow down, take more care of each other and their surroundings – making for a more meaningful, creative and sensory play experience.

Why is sensory play important?
Sensory play allows children to engage with the world in a curious, creative, explorative way. At WiLD THiNGS Play Project, we allow children’s imaginations to roam free. They experience first-hand nature play in a way many children, particularly those who grow up inside a city, may not often get the chance.
