Soft play… reimagined! We’re introducing our revolutionary brand of indoor play to Plymouth. Our new Drake Circus play centre is our biggest project yet – with more play, more food choices and even more fun!

Suitable for ages 0 to 7, our climbing frames, sand play, sensory spaces, crafty corner and under 3’s area are designed to inspire adventure and discovery in children of all abilities. There’s no plastic (or screens!) in sight, just sustainably-built play facilities designed to recreate the thrill of outdoor play in an all-weather, air conditioned and heated setting.

Find us: On the upper level of Drake Circus shopping centre, right next to the main entrance from the car park.

Open 7 days a week. You do not need to book in advance, but expect us to be busy on wet days and bookings can be taken over the phone.

Wholesome food both kids & grownups can enjoy Try the all-new menu exclusive to our Plymouth play cafe

After growing tired of the usual sugar-fuelled soft play fare, we decided to create a play cafe that serves freshly-made, nourishing meals that both kids and adults actually want to eat!

Our brand new Plymouth food menu spans childhood favourites like pizza and pasta, plus delicious salad bowls, hot paninis and a selection of sandwiches both kids and adults will enjoy. We’ve got breakfast sandwiches and muffins to start your day off in style, and of course, the excellent barista coffees, artisan teas, cheeky hot choc, and local cakes we’ve become known for. Click here to download our menu.

Whether passing by or settling in for stay & play, our Plymouth play cafe is the perfect pit stop on a busy day.

FAQs Answers to some of our most commonly asked questions!

Is WiLD THiNGS Play Project soft play?
We are not a soft play – we’re something different. Our immersive indoor play area uses all-natural materials to recreate the feel of outdoor play and allow kids’ imaginations to run WiLD.

What are the disadvantages of soft play?
As parents we found the only real play available on the high street was generic, plastic, overpopulated and noisy soft play (not to mention the sugar-fuelled food and drink!). When the confines of a traditional soft play environment are removed, we find children play a different way. They slow down, take more care of each other and their surroundings – making for a more meaningful, creative and sensory play experience.

Why is sensory play important?
Sensory play allows children to engage with the world in a curious, creative, explorative way. At WiLD THiNGS Play Project, we allow children’s imaginations to roam free. They experience first-hand nature play in a way many children, particularly those who grow up inside a city, may not often get the chance.
