You might have heard the news that WiLD THiNGS is bringing its unique brand of indoor play to Drake Circus in Plymouth! Whether you’re a long-time patron of our flagship Cribbs Causeway location in Bristol, or our play project is a totally new concept to you and you’re intrigued about what we do – we thought we’d shed some light on our new Plymouth location in the lead up to our grand opening in December!

We’re bringing our revolutionary brand of indoor play to Plymouth, and the new play centre is our biggest project yet! There’s more space for play, crafts, sensory activities, parties, community events, and of course our brand new restaurant offering (thanks to our new kitchen!).
Just like our much-loved Bristol location, WiLD THiNGS Drake Circus will be suitable for ages 0 to 7. We’ll have plenty of climbing frames, sand play, sensory spaces, under 3’s play and a crafty corner. It will all be made using our signature wood and recycled materials, and designed to encourage adventure and discovery in children of all abilities.
There’s no plastic (or screens!) in sight, just good-for-kids, good-for-the-planet play!
Aside from having even more space for play, the things that really sets our brand new Plymouth location apart is the expanded restaurant offering.
Thanks to our new kitchen, we’re able to offer a varied menu of freshly-made children’s (and grown-up’s) favourites! Think pizza, pasta, salad bowls, hot paninis, and a lovely selection of sandwiches. It’s a menu that appeals to both children and adults, and it’s completely different to the sugar-fuelled fare that’s often found at soft play centres.
We’ll also be serving breakfast sandwiches and muffins throughout the morning, alongside barista made hot drinks and the locally-sourced selection of pastries and cakes that we have become known for.
We’ve designed a place where adults can take a moment, sit down and treat themselves to something nice while they watch their children play.
We believe that all children, regardless of whether they grow up in the countryside or inner city, deserve to experience play in the natural world.
As parents, we found that the only play available on the high street was generic, plastic, overpopulated and noisy soft play. Don’t even get us started on the sugary food and drink!
We’ve set out to bring the feeling of wide open spaces to the city – reWiLDing urban spaces in a way never seen before.
Our partner Touchwood designs immersive indoor play areas with natural, sustainable materials. Recreating the feel of outdoor play to allow kids’ imaginations to run WiLD.

We created Wild Things Play Project to provide a space on the high street for more than just play.
We want our space to be a hub for local communities and all things child-based. From storytelling to baby yoga, NCT classes to mother and baby groups, SEN sessions, kids parties, and beyond!

We are so excited to open the doors to our brand new location in Drake Circus shopping centre, and we can’t wait to meet our new Plymouth community! We’ve had lots of messages anticipating the opening of our new location and we’re thrilled to have created such a buzz.
